« We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back for a second visit. One of our favorite things about this property is the sound of the river—it’s wonderfully loud and relaxing. Throughout the day, we enjoyed hearing the laughter and excitement of the rafters passing by, and it was equally enjoyable to sit in the chairs and watch fly fishermen cast their lines.The rental is located within a small gated area that feels private and secluded, even though the road is just beyond the tree line....

« We really enjoyed our stay. The location in reference to downtown was great. You are about 3 miles from downtown Highlands. The cottage was clean and well equipped for us. If you’re lucky, you may see wildlife like we did. A deer showed up one early evening and we were visited by 2 rabbits just about every day late afternoon. The only negative was that the mattress is super firm. So just be mindful of that if important to you. Overall, the stay was great, and we would highly recommend. Dana the...
