Enjoy a wide view of the birch forest from the porch swing, or while relaxing sore muscles in the private hot tub. The deck's fire table is perfect for spending time together in warmth. The private gas grill will provide an enviable view for the group's chef. Inside, windows galore provide views of the outdoors from nearly every room. Mix yourself up a drink from the bar cart and enjoy a film on the flatscreen TV - musically inclined guests can enjoy playing a favorite tune on the upright piano. The gas fireplace will help everyone warm up properly after a day out exploring. The full kitchen features everything guests need to prepare full-size meals (including granite countertops and a helpful prep island) while the built-in breakfast nook provides plenty of space to enjoy meals together. A dedicated office space is perfect for if guests need to finish assignments before heading out. Rest and plan your adventure in this comfortable lodge-style home - everything you need to do so is just inside. THINGS TO KNOW A 4x4 may be required to reach this home in winter. There is a zero-tolerance policy for extra guests at any time. Violating the maximum occupancy of six people will result in immediate eviction from the premises of all parties. No refunds will be issued. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Security camera details: \*\*\*Please note: There is an outdoor camera on our back deck to the right of the BBQ. This is for security purposes and spa monitoring WHEN THE HOUSE IS VACANT. We will have this camera turned off during your stay, however, I encourage you to throw a towel over the camera to give you peace of mind that you have true privacy. There are other outdoor security cameras, but only at the front and sides of the house. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS INSIDE THE HOUSE. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). With 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms on separate floors it gave us enough room for some privacy plus nice gathering space too. We did use the hot tub (102 degrees seem a little hot) even though the temps were in the 60's &. the propane fire pit on back deck, We all laughed at the adventure of getting into the high beds - my daughter-in-law had to jump up to get in bed. We had great weather - couple days in the 70's & a wonderful stay. Thanks for the Alaska memories. ##### Marge G. Such a cute, cozy and authentic Alaska house! It had everything we could need to relax and cook and we loved enjoying the hot tub every evening. The decor is so thoughtful and fun and made us feel like we were truly in Alaska. It was nice to have so many bathrooms and our teenage daughters loved having the whole basement space to themselves! We used the house as our base for Anchorage and the 30 minute drive was easy. Jun 22, 2025 #### nice gem close to Anchorage, yet also on way to Denali and points north this property was a great place for 3 couples to each have privacy - each bedroom is on a different floor, and space. the kitchen is adequately equipped - I would have liked more baking dishes. The cooking supplies are fine. The dishes and silverware were fine. The appliances are all in good working order. We enjoyed cooking in for breakfasts and dinners. The proximity to a major grocery store is beneficial. We did interact with a local manager and he seemed responsive to our couple of hiccups. the hot tub, deck, grill and outside furniture were great - though we had rainy weather and were not able to sit outside much.
