Great property with unique design & history. Well maintained with abundant amenities, polished and friendly service, spacious & comfortable communal areas for working or lounging, as well as several quality dining options. Room was well sized with sitting, working and sleeping area - well stocked and outfitted - high-quality coffee & tea, bathroom amenities, mini-fridge, kettle, etc. Lastly - the location is very convenient if you're planning on exploring Chicago's Downtown/Loop area or the major museums & Milennium Park (directly across the street).

The property had so many places to eat and have fun at! We felt like we didn’t even need to leave! Dave was fantastic on showing us around the hotel and his recommendations were so helpful! We will be back! I didn’t even tell the front desk lady it was my birthday and she recognized it all on her own and gave us free drink coupons to celebrate. The staff was absolutely amazing

Pros: beautiful lobby, great staff and nice restaurants and game room Cons: maybe we got unlucky but our room was super dark, we only had 1 tiny window facing a wall basically so it was gloomy in our room. The windows not at all what was pictured when I picked the room

Very friendly staff and easy access to everything in hotel. Loved the rooftop view at night. Probably not a family ambiance kind hotel. I feel it caters more to the young college town but over all great experience.

The common areas of the hotel are gorgeous, with beautiful architectural detail and a sense of history. The individual rooms are very spacious and decorated in a rugged style in keeping with the building’s history: big leather couches, dark masculine palette, gray carpeting. It could use a refresh however, and the lighting throughout the hotel is strangely dim. There appear to be rooms facing Michigan, I wd only stay here again if I had one of those. Ours overlooked the air shaft. Also housekeeping never came to our room (we only stayed two nights) and this made for a kind of depressing atmosphere. The bedding was great and also the fitness center.
