Only a one night stay

We booked the hotel to attend a music concert at the Futurascope Arena. The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The bar has tables with games on them which was a unique touch. Check-in was easy, staff where very friendly and efficient. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. The only downsides were that their were no drink making facilities in the room and the bathroom and toilet area were tired. We would use the hotel again.

I only took this hotel, because I am used to make a stop at Futuroscope. I found the personelle rather unfriendly and partly incompitent. I was disappointed that on saturdays and subraya no meals are served.

Lovley but confusing check-in

When we arrived, the two young ladies on reception (one on Ibis, one on Ibis Budget) both insisted that I needed to have a sheet of paper to be able to check in. (Bond du something). The booking number or my noame were worthless. Gallic shrugs all round. Eventually, I said I had not booked as a package with our Futuroscope tickets, and smiles and dcomprehension dawned, our number was looked up, my name was there. Really, these receptionists should not assume everyone has booked a Futuroscope package. I only realised those were available after booking the hotel. I would have printed out everything I was sent, so was mystified that a non-existent piece of paper was vital. This was very upsetting after a long drive, to think we had nowhere to sleep! After that, all was perfect.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel , juste une remarque sur le nombre de serviettes dans les chambres (2 petites pour 2 adultes c'est trop juste ) et sur le papier toilette , 2 rouleaux entamés , pas de réserve autre. Autrement ,cela a toujours été un très bon établissement.

Chambre vieillotte (et la nôtre puait !)

une chambre qui sentait horriblement l'urine de chien à l'arrivée ! Le personnel nous a proposé de passer une machine destructeur d'odeur qui a en 30min en parti réglé le problème mais pas totalement. Du coup après une journée au parc avec un enfant de 8 ans on se couche malgré tout très tard et dans une chambre où on a dû, en plus de l'action du personnel, mettre un peu de parfum pour pouvoir dormir ! Literie correcte mais sans plus et globalement la chambre est vieillotte, la baignoire abimée, les murs auraient besoin d'un bon coup de peinture au moins car pas très nets, ... Au delà de la chambre, parties communes modernes, petit dej varié et bon, ...
