"I rarely write reviews, but this felt necessary. I’ve been coming to Hilton Squaw Peak Resort since I was a teenager, and it has always been a special place for my family. We loved the welcoming pool and fountain, easy parking, and the beautiful atmosphere of the resort. A family member even bought a townhouse nearby because we loved it so much. We stayed for two nights over spring break and were aware of renovations, but the online photos made it seem unchanged. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Our room had no number on the door, we initially walked past it thinking it was a mistake. While updated, it was next to a loud machine that hummed all night. During peak travel times, there should be better accommodations, clearer communication, or discounted rates.
