« Only negative/be-aware-of first: it can get hot and muggy in the afternoons. Don't leave the windows open hoping for a breeze, we figured out that leaving them shut after the early morning kept some of the overnight coolness in the house. « We stayed here 8 days. The place was very clean and nice accommodations. We liked that it was close the Kona airport. Nice location to go anywhere on the island from. Even had ocean views. The front bedroom has a window ac unit (though you rarely need it). The other bedroom has blackout shades. The unit has Jalousie windows (very common in Hawaii and tropics). We felt very welcome when we arrived, finding a treat and local music playing.
