Capitol city Hotel perfect location to center of DC activity! Hotel clean, staff friendly and courteous, delicious breakfast, coffee/tea and snacks in lobby, wine social hour in evening and bikes to check out to ride around DC!! Loved out stay and will go back for sure!!
The hotel was very good for those visiting the city as a tourist. Room price was reasonable and still within walking distance of the National Mall. Staff was pleasant and very helpful with maps, tour options and suggestions. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel was recommended to me and I chose it based on the recommendation and its proximity to Union Station. I would definitely recommend it! The staff was welcoming and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
Hotel location was great, service and staff was wonderful. However, this was not the best Hilton Garden that I have stayed in, especially for the price. Messed up the initial room that was booked, had to change rooms upon arrival, the restaurant affiliated with the hotel was less than satisfactory, the food was not great, service was short. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom, the temp control was only able to be increased by 5 degrees. The bed was very hard, furniture was uncomfortable, valet parking was good although it was not expressed that there would be tax on the parking fee.

We were in for 2 nights to see some colleges and selected this hotel for its proximity to Union Station which is a short 2 block walk away. We took the metro to Catholic University (2 stops away on the Redline) and also to the airport (DCA). The staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
Lawmakers handle the nation’s business at the US Capitol, where Freedom peers across the land atop her perch on the rotunda. Many members of Congress live in the brick row houses near the Capitol complex. Across the street, the Supreme Court—the third branch of government—interprets the law. Nearby, the restored Union Station is a transit terminal and dining hotspot.
