Clean towels were not brought daily. The AC was inoperable. Maintenance had to repair it after sleeping in a room of 76 degrees. The bathroom wall had a hole in it from the door knob. Lastly, the toilet flushed sporadically. We had to wait until the toilet bowl filled with water.
Many nearby restaurant options, let me recommend Kings Oyster Bar on M street, walking distance from the Hyatt Place. Great happy hour prices and delicious food.
We’ve stayed at many hyatts and we felt confident in booking this one. Sadly I didn’t read the reviews before.
Not only was our first room disgusting but the new room they gave us was no better. I’m talking stains in the bed, and food smeared in the carpet. Then when we switched rooms which was very late at night, they sent a security guard to our room 3 different times wanting the old hotel key back. I’ve never had this happen. To top it off it’s $50 a day for valet parking, you can park on the street but your chances of someone breaking in is very high! Overall, I’m disappointed in the stay and honestly debating a refund.
