"We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

"Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather."

"I had to be in the Ellicotville area for work and we found this cute cabin to stay through VRBO. We couldn't have imagined how amazing this cabin would be. The communication with the owners was easy. Both Madeline and Bette were very helpful and polite. The view from the screened in porch into the state forest is so relaxing. The interior of the cabin is beautiful and about as relaxing as the porch. We couldn't decide whether to sit inside or outside. The location is close to town yet far enough...

"This cabin and pond were perfect for a relaxing and peaceful getaway for our family! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We spent so much time on the front porch and fishing around the pond. Couldn’t believe how quiet it was! Loved finding all kinds of wildlife in the area. Good location to go hiking, shopping, or in our case, to Niagara Falls. Made use of the grill almost every day and enjoyed making some delicious meals. We didn’t have any issues, everything went so well. We can’t wait to go back! Will be recommending to our friends and family."
