"Room was clean, temp was good, water was hot. No issues with the staff and the breakfast was good. Most of the outlets in my room were loose and did not charge my phone."

"The room was dirty & unkept . The bed sheets in room 5 ( April 9, 2026 ) were NOT replaced prior to our arrival. When my wife & I were about to get in bed for the night we saw that the sheets contained someones grittiness . Who in the hell wants to crawl into that ? My wife was disgusted . It's MY WIFE ! We left around 3:00 am on 04/10/26 . Tried to get a refund but they declined . Chaffee Lodge is a JOKE & so is the long bearded fast talking lobby attendant ( "manager" LoL ) Also when my wife & I returned at 9:45 pm on 04/09/26 after visiting some friends the entire lobby & hallway reeked with the smell of weed . "

"It was a cool historical building that was very nice inside. We had the down stairs room it was spacious but the carpet did smell a little old and musty. I would stay there again in a differ room with no carpet in it."
