They had to open our door remotely which I felt was not safe. We had an upstairs room, where we had to climb up unsafe stairs with metal plates in two spots to support the broken slats you walked on. « Duane and Rhonda were wonderful hosts. We felt like we were visiting family more than staying at a B&B. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Rhonda definitely has a creative eye for decor. « The new owners are working really hard to renovate this motel. The rooms are very comfortable, the place is very quiet. Yes there is a bit of a mess outside while work goes on but that can be overlooked. The owner is very nice and serviable. Breakfast is good but some bread and/or bagels would be a nice addition. »
