The rooms smelled of disinfectant, the motel was in disrepair, the staff rude, and the back side a homeless shelter with the associated garbage and dead cars. The reviews were obviously faked. The photo in the reviews does not look anything like the room we were assigned. It was a dump. The community of San Andreas and towns within 40 miles knows the place is a dump, unsafe, and a homeless shelter. The were people obviously on drugs wandering around the parking lot. I am going to report them to the county health department as a health hazard. Additionally the management and Expedia refused to refund our deposit for the second night. Expedia said the motel had to cancel the second night. The motel said Expedia had to cancel the second night. We were on the phone more than two hours with the two entities both refusing to correct the problem. We did not stay there because of the filth, the odors, and safety issues. We had to find lodging in another city hours away which cost considerably more because of last minute booking. I am very disappointed with Expedia and will probably never use Expedia again

The newly remodeled rooms are so nice! The towel art on the bed was such a nice touch! Weve stayed here many times and the new owners have done a great job with this place. Felt like we were in a big city hotel.

It’s not the greatest neighborhood but the staff definitely went above and beyond for my visit. The power was out all over the region but they checked me in flawlessly. When the power came back on, I was greeted with a lovely room.

Everything was fine- as others have stated, the outside looks to be under renovation, but rooms are nice and new. Staff friendly, but on the Orbitz page for the hotel it clearly states that pets are $15/night. They charged me $30. When I realized this, Orbitz called them and they refused to refund, giving some excuse that made not sense (like that was for a different website and the room discount cancels that pet rate). They did not honor the price. Orbitz ended up giving me a coupon, which is great, but I wasted a bunch of time. I chose that hotel based on that pet fee and then they didn't honor it.
