There is a pretty decent size workout room with professional equipment. We lost our old dog last year and we absolutely fell in love with the resident greeter and surveyor of the property, Tulsa. It was really special having her meet us in the driveway everyday. I hope we get to come back to our hometown and enjoy this home again during pool season. Everything about our stay was as advertised or better than we expected. The interior had all we needed. The fridge is an actual antique and is perfectly functional but a bit small, so don’t plan on stocking it up. The pool was clean and the view across the foothills was serene. I watched hummingbirds, woodpeckers, hawks, and wild turkeys all around the beautiful landscape in mid September. The nearby small airport had some fixed wing and helicopter traffic that was not an intrusion at all. I personally enjoyed watching them come and go. Nearby Sutter Creek and Jackson have plenty of dining and shops if you wish to leave for a bit. Thank you! ##### Matthew A. Somehow… this perfectly-rated property manages to exceed expectations. I knew nothing about the area and decided to book based on the reviews— and was absolutely thrilled with the experience. It’s essentially an apartment with a huge pool and hot tub with every amenity, and the kindest family imaginable. The area is incredible with a throwback feel. As someone who has worked in hotel management for over 10 years, notes were being taken!The communication right from the initial booking was exceptional. We felt very welcomed and the stay was in the cutest little apartment. It was a great distance from the cute little Sutter Creek downtown, only an hour from Sacramento and only 3 hours from San Francisco, so we were able to make a couple of day trips.
