"$25 for valet parking?"
We stayed there to attend a photography workshop the next morning. The convention room was good: nice acoustics, held good temperature, and the bathrooms are handy. But this hotel is showing its age a bit. Our room was only large enough for two full beds, not queens, but they were comfortable. The ventilation was terrible. No fan in the bathroom and I tried for 10 minutes to get the electronic thermostat in the room to just turn on the fan and there was no way to do it. I would have liked to have the white noise because you can hear everything in the hallway. We self parked and it was $17 a day. Also, they really should open the coffee shop in the evenings because the steak house is very expensive. Breakfast buffet was $21, which seemed excessive.

"Good Sacramento hotel across from Amtrak station"
The Vagabond is right across the street from the Sacramento Amtrak station. A good, central location for Old Town, the State Rail Museum, Regional Transit, Nd a short walk to the State Capitol. Amtrak puts crew members up here and a new crosswalk leads right to the place.

Liked the free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was too expensive for what you got.

"Safe, secure, Park and Fly"
I arrived frazzled after being evacuated from the Butte Fire. I had arranged a Park and Fly as I was leaving for a 3 week vacation in Montana. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer - their helpfullness and take charge attitude calmed me down & I was able to leave feeling confident they had everything under control. I found the room comfortable and quiet. Thank you!

Smooth check in and facilities were nice. Didn't appreciate paying for parking and believe the hotel should validate parking passes.
