Note - It is next to a railway line so trains going through early hours of the morning which woke the local roosters which in turn got the neighbourhood dog going! not much sleep after that - not really a complaint because everything else at this property was great. "You won't find more friendly staff members at any hotel. From the front lobby to the cleaning staff, everyone made us feel like we were family, photos were taken upon our departure. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road into the city from the train station located less than 10 minutes away. The rooms are interesting, ours included hand painted frescoes on the walls. Breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice served by staff who truly feel proud of their hotel. Tropea is such a beautiful if busy town with lovely beaches and clear blue waters. Nearby Pizzo is also worth a visit. Excellent stay in a very special place. "

"WE had to make an emergency stay at the last moment. Pleasantly surprised at how beautiful Tropis is. The grounds were beautful. The rooms were very nce and the Staff was extremely courteous. Speaking English to guide us through an already frustrating day. The price per night may be a bit on the high-end, but absolutely worth every penny!"
