« Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. »

« This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

Laundry services available, but shared with other tenants. Unit sleeps four; however, with luggage, gear, etc. may be better suited for two adults. At times, airplanes may be heard flying overhead. Overall, though, I would recommend this unit. »

« The property was not what I initially expected, but in a good way. Its not a hotel. these are individual "suites" that open up to the back deck, or to the front. The suites are quite large, which was very nice for my family. Huge bathroom, and a large comfortable foldout couch. Window fans are provided, which enabled us to enjoy the cool fresh air from Stonington! The back deck is huge, tons of room to relax and take in the harbor. "La chambre a été faite seulement après la première nuit et pas la deuxième. Il a fallu courir après des serviettes propres le soir. 45 minutes d'attente après un appel à la réception donc je suis allé à la réception pour aller chercher les serviettes. Plutôt ordinaire pour ce genre d'hôtel à $750 cdn la nuit. Le reste était correct. Excellent emplacement au bord de l'océan."
