"My boyfriend and I stayed here on our first trip to Chicago! I did research for hours on end to try and find a place that was on the lower end in price while still being very nice and giving off a luxury vibe. From the moment we checked in I was super impressed with the location and the service. The lobby is beautiful, there are full body mirrors all over, the room was clean, but the main thing I loved was the service. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they showed us a special touch in multiple ways. They moved our room to a higher floor, brought him a dessert at breakfast, and brought a note and chocolates to the room during the day. It meant so much to us and made it extra special. The breakfast was amazing and the view from our room was gorgeous. My only complaint is that the TV was a little hard to work with and connect to… but that was a minor annoyance. I would absolutely stay here again "

"The staff were great. Rooms were very clean but lacked in the little things like soap and a coffee maker. The room was large and comfortable. The cooling system would only keep the room at 70 degrees. The tv was slow and clunky making almost useless for entertainment. No tv guide or movie channels. The hotel is places well around shopping and restaurants near by."

"Waited 10 minutes for someone to actually appear at front desk upon check in, and when they did arrive, only directed guests to kiosks to check in themselves. No welcome, no review of property or amenities, no ID check. Bed felt like it was 2 decades old at best, springs felt throughout and saggy. At check out, same thing, directed to kiosks. At no time did anyone from the staff offer a welcome or ask about my stay. Convenient location, but price not worth what is actually offered at the property."

"It was OK. Not the greatest, not the worst. The building itself is old. My room was nice but the bathroom was TINY. The toilet didn’t have a cover, looked like a public bathroom. What makes this hotel stand out is definitely the VIEW. It’s so beautiful. Great location, walk across the street to the water. "

"I’ve stayed at the Hilton Chicago many times, and I keep going back because it is always a great experience. The staff is great, making check in easy and using the amenities easy. The property is clean and well maintained, so it feels luxurious, and it’s right downtown in the loop so you have easy access to anything you may want to experience in Chicago. I highly recommend the Hilton for any trip or staycation in Chicago."
