I could easily walk to different restaurants in the neighborhood, and there is a park across the street that was active and filled with different food stands. The vibe was great. There is also a casino and a very good restaurant on the property too. As for the hotel itself, the room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing missing was a refrigerator and maybe a safe, but everything else was great. The best part of the Pickwick was definitely the staff. They were all so polite and helpful and helped me with arranging a guide to take me to the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins and just driving around, showing me much of Belize City.
