"This property is managed by Vacasa and it's a nuisanse. When you're traveling you'd appreciate having all the information in one source. Unfortunately, in this case VRBO site merely redirects you elsewhere which is often inconvenient. They stay itself was pleasant. The staff was responsive and accomodating. We found the $15 AC surcharge a bit strange and actually a bit spoiling the impression. I doubt it's a good business model (we didn't take it)."

"We had a great stay with two boys under four years old! The location was great as it was out of the busy part of town and right on the beach. It had a well cared for pool! Kitchen was well stock with all we needed. Air conditioning is a big plus. The fridge wasn’t working when we arrived but a maintenance person arrived just as we went walking and they replaced the fridge before we returned!! We had everything we needed!"

"There were some plumbing issues but the host responded quickly and was very helpful to the issues. The beach location is great and made for good sunsets. Definitely bring in your own food to cook with because the kitchen is fully equipped."

Our only note was that because there’s a boat to/from town means you can’t stay out too late in town because the last boat back is 9-10pm. All good for us since I was there with older family, but something to be aware of for younger people looking for nightlife!"

"Did not give us an accurate address, spent 45 minutes walking around to try and find it. VRBO manager had no idea we were coming. Several dogs barked outside our door for HOURS on end. Bathroom had ramen noodles in the drain?"

"The Velento was a wonderful place to stay. It was in a great location and our view was amazing. Staff were kind and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend Velento to others."

"Our experience here was absolutely fabulous with one exception. The unit we stayed had another unit above it. No fault of the people staying there but it sounded as if a whole football team was practicing up there and perhaps going to come through the roof. There seems to be very little insulation between the upper and lower units. Just a heads up for others that f this is the type of thing that can take a wonderful property and stay and the rn t into not such a great experience. It was annoying...

"Everyone was gracious from beginning to end. At first I thought they forgot to mop the floors. By the end of day 3 we realized you needed to sweep often due to dust and sand. We had 3 separate AC remotes to control each bedroom and kitchen/living room area. A few times the wi fi went out but after sending Jessi a text, he fixed it immediately. "We loved our stay here. The condo was really spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the balcony overlooking the pool and the hammock on our balcony that we could lounge in. The lounge chairs on the docks were comfortable and the view beautiful. It was easy walking distance from restaurants and entertainment without all the noise of being right next to those places. We would highly recommend this place."

"The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children."

"Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life."
