A chair in my room needed to be replaced and the TV was not fully installed yet, but neither of those things detracted from the experience in any meaningful way. "It's a really cute cottage, but for that price we were expecting way more. The plates weren't clean, too few spoons, no cozy seating area on the terrace, small chairs at the bar, no lighter for the gas heater, the mosquito net was not everywhere closed, so we had on one day a huge amount of animals in the cottage. "This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!"

"This is our second consecutive summer staying at this property, and we absolutely love it. It's the ideal hotel for anyone wanting to feel truly connected to Placencia village life. We enjoy our morning routine of jogging, then picking up fresh fruits and vegetables from the local markets—all just a five-minute walk away. The numerous nearby restaurants are also a huge plus. The staff consistently provides exceptional service, with Kendra at the front desk being particularly outstanding. When I accidentally left my passport in our room, she immediately took charge of the situation. She arranged for a driver who was already heading to Belize to turn around, retrieve my passport, and deliver it to me in Belize City. We're already planning to return next summer."
