We loved that the twin beds weren't pushed together like in most hotels and the amenities were great. The room controls were a bit complicated and didn't always work perfectly - there's nothing wrong with a TV remote and a light switch! The staff were all lovely and very polite and welcoming. We also loved the pool and the flavoured water in the lobby. All in all a great stay." Check in was easy. Hotel staff courteous. Room was very good size for a European hotel! I was concerned about the room facing the concert hall but could not hear anything. Extemely close to Grand Palace. Hit the different Christmas markets there in Belgium, Bruege and visited Ghent. Central Station is a five minute walk. Breakfast was a buffet and great variety. Would not hesitate to return back to this hotel." Checkin & out are automated & very quick. Room & shower were excellent size & comfortable, with working air con. Good communal facilities. Only weakness was the choice of floor covering: a black type of matting, this shows remnants of cream & must make cleaning difficult (I should have asked them to clean).
