Rooms were clean. We arrived very early on the day of check-in and were offered a hospitality room to change and storage for our bags. Major issue was that the hallway ceiling was leaning on 5th floor where were staying. They had garbage cans lined up to collect the drips and the hallway smelled super musty the whole stay. Repair man was fixing on our last day and seemed to be removing the pieces of the ceiling and re-mudding. Restaurant was mediocre , complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. Access to Atlantis was great." The staff are great. Cameron/ Zenovia/ Albert get 6 stars for their help. Rooms have small kitchenettes so breakfast is easy. Bathrooms double sinks helps. Restaurants limited to a couple but beach has service all day. Pool is heated. Nice views from balconies to sit at. Exercise room could use a few more treadmills. Also if using cash hard to get change on facility. The pool table sags in the center. The air hockey table doesn’t work. There was no ball for fuss ball table. Despite being an all-inclusive resort, tip jars were everywhere. We were unable to get reservations at any à la carte restaurant all week; this is done via app. The buildings need cleaning and renovations. The beach is superb. The room was quiet except one night when neighbors were speaking loudly after midnight. The trapeze show was stunning. The buffet food was excellent. The staff was friendly. Checking in and out was easy. This was my third stay at Viva Fortuna. I will return if they update facilities and equipment.
