The first day I arrived the lobby had a horrendous odor. The facility is falling apart with hole in the wall everywhere. In my room the floors were so dusty. As a patron of Marriott, I was highly disappointed by tge property. I’ve always experienced a nice and comfortable stay with you all up until last week. There needs to be some serious renovations done at this location.

Our stay was okay. I was a bit disappointed because it was advertised as a resort but it's just a hotel. There is no entertainment and the food is expensive and the ordering process is very slow. Some of the staff were very nice like Clide and another woman at the bar but I don't know her name. I also like the beach accross the street but I thought it was connected to the hotel. I also like the variety of food available in the area.

I love the lobby seating and the dining area was comfortable and clean. The furnishing in the room needs updating because they were peeling and chipped. I didn't particularly appreciate being charged for one night while still in the in-flight, {1 pm}. I landed after 2 pm. My bank sent an alert. Check-in is 4 pm. This caused my credit card to decline because I did not respond to the text message sent by my bank. My bank was closed due to the July 4th, holiday. I was also given a room with a king-size bed when I requested a room with two queen-size beds. My plan should include breakfast but I was told this was not what I paid for. This caused such stress r an already stressful situation because I was on the island to bury my older sister. Needless, to say, I was overwhelmed at this point. However, I love the staff for the dining area. They are friendly and extremely helpful. In the end, my room was changed and breakfast was complimentary, after speaking with a manager. Construction was going on at the property.

This location is perfect for visiting Nassau. It's within walking distance of most of the major attractions and of course it is directly across from a great beach. The Fish Fry is a short walk to the left and Downtown to the right. The free drink tickets are nice, but it also depends on who is behind the bar. Sometimes they'll give you whatever you want and others seem to be more specific. This is my second stay and I was told it was for a drink of the day which was cranberry and vodka that particular night which I am not terribly fond of. The restaurant is good, but there are occasions when they do not receive everything they need and run out of popular items. Truth be told, if you are staying in the Bahamas, you should venture out and try some local food. It is excellent. The facility itself is great, they are making a lot of improvements. It's very affordable, safe and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are always shuttles and taxi's nearby. If I end up going back for a third time, I have very little doubt I'll be three for three staying at the Courtyard by Marriott.

Some of employees aren’t friendly or helpful at all. There’s one pool under construction and the other pool is just ok. A bit convenient close to some stores. The beach view was the highlight, we enjoyed seeing the view every morning.
