Unfortunately it looks old and run-down on the outside. With so few windows, it looks a bit like a factory or a prison. This is something Bonvoy should remedy. However, on the inside it is modern, (except the old hallways), clean and the staff are super friendly. The location is terrific with access to Junkanoo Beach, Fish Fry and downtown areas.

Lovely place! The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The amenities available are great, and I don’t just mean those within each room. The restaurant had great food and service, “the market” had a great variety of necessities to buy, the excursion desk had lots of information and an incredibly helpful employee, and the employee standing in the lobby every day was amazing as well. They saw that we were heading to the beach and asked us if we wanted to take some chairs with us which we didn’t even know they had. When we were checking out, the same employee offered to take our luggage out to the taxi while we were doing some last minute shopping in the market. Overall an incredible experience here.
