"Worst hotel breakfast ever. I was given a paper sack with various cold items, including a stale croissant and some odd-tasting granola. I also got a hamburger bun smeared with cream cheese. A hamburger bun smeared with cream cheese. Room was comfortable and clean, hotel is convenient to the neighborhood we were visiting. Staff was pleasant, except for the sullen breakfast room guy, but who can blame him, he has a thankless job. We stayed her two years ago and the breakfast was a pretty nice buffet with a variety of tasty and healthy options. No more. Again: worst hotel breakfast ever. Fortunately, there are some great bakeries and coffee joints nearby."

"Chose a room with a view of the Verrazano Bridge (if you squint you can see it) but the bonus was that if you looked far to the right, you can also see the Statue of Liberty waving at you. It was a wonderful location and it is near numerous restaurants and numerous subway lines."

"I really liked the room at my last visit three months ago; bathroom this time looks work with aging, darkening caulk surrounding tub, some chips in tub floor and torn shower curtain. Otherwise the room was very nice, and the train noise was really just a background for sleep. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional. "
