« Property was very nice and clean. Only down fall was the sat night around 11 way into 5 a.m. there were ppl running up and down the stairs and punching the codes in our door trying to get into our room. They were smoking and set off the alarm. Hall ways smelled lot pot. We didn’t rest at all. »

« Pictures and description were accurate. Owner very nice, but procedures could have been more forthcoming. Beds, pillows and towels were excellent. Window AC was below average in sweltering heat and not the best. Nice seating and tables, just small. When there was an issue, owner was on top of it. Overall positive stay. 2 BR cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. »

« This location is in the shaw building and is right next door to the Howard theater.
It was easy for uber/lyft to find and is convenient to get to/from the airport and other places in DC. The apartment was SPACIOUS!!! 2 bedrooms and 2 baths but the open living room/kitchen concept was nice. There was a washer/dryer and plenty of dishes to use.
Only downside - the window coverings let light through, so bring your eye mask if you wake up easily due to light.

« This was our first time in Washington and I would caution everyone to avoid NW if possible. Was convenient to the DC Streetcar however the unit is located almost directly over a liquor store and the walk to it was dicey. I wasn't aware but apparently pot is legal and used openly in public. Would not have brought the kids had I been warned. The unit itself was TINY. We felt pretty safe being on the 3rd floor but it was quite noisy from the traffic and late night partiers across the street....
