"This property was beautiful and well maintained and clean. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very nice room with a view of the forest. Had a delicious ample breakfast outside. Highly recommend this hotel!"

Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn

"Excellent location! Rhinebeck is a cool town with a great assortment of shops, bars and restaurants & numerous nearby sites and attractions. Beekman Arms is a charming historical inn with lots of character. When we arrived, costumed period actors interacted with diners & guests in preparation for an upcoming US 250th celebration, so fun! The main floor has a parlor/sitting room, several dining rooms with different ambiances, and a historic bar with excellent cocktails and service. At dinner, the service and food (large portions!) were fantastic- Pat took great care of us. We stayed in a large room in the main building; it was clean & comfortable, housekeeping staff were very friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited but it was nice to grab a coffee & pastry before setting out for the day. There was an incident the 2nd night of our stay due to a loud wedding after-party congregating in the lounge which happened to be directly below our room. Management graciously followed up with us in the morning and went above and beyond to acknowledge our frustration. They were sincerely apologetic and assured us that the situation we encountered is not typical. Based on their response, I feel certain this was a one-off occurrence and not something guests should be concerned about. I only bring it up to show how obvious it is that they care about the experience of their guests. We look forward to returning and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay! Cool antique barn too!"

"The hotel is located in the beautiful hills of the Berkshires right on the border on new York and Massachusetts, which provides the most amazing views of your room. The room itself is very spacious and luxurious; the bed was also extremely comfortable, which is rare from my experience. I definitely recommend eating a meal at the hotel restaurant. I had the lemon shrimp (highly recommended) and the 16oz steak (also highly recommended). I definitely plan on coming back for another stay."

"Stayed three nights during the week with three rooms for a project in the area. Exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean with no odors. My mattress was great (although I brought my own pillow). The shower was high pressure and hot! AC kept the room as cold as you wanted it. Not requested but nice was they made the beds each day and brought fresh towels. Very small automatic coffee machine in the lobby which we did not use. Pleasantly surprised of the overall experience. Be back in the fall for a few weeks to finish the project and will stay again."

Pocketbook Hotel and Bath

"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. We stayed on a Saturday night and the hotel was booked out, but besides hearing some light noise above us the next day, it was peaceful. We stayed in the 250 sqft studio, and although on the smaller side, it was super efficient with a smart layout. Huge mirror on the wall near the exit, a mini bar, toiletries, excellent fade lighting and ample electrical outlets. No TV, but a HUGE projector available to watch streaming channels without needing to log in. The only caveat is when you lower the projector screen, you're also covering up the outside light from getting in. It was a Saturday night, and during check-in we were told about Clutch, a cool 'dance club'space in the lower level. The DJ was phenomenal! Checkout was a breeze and Alice was super friendly and accommodating. I LOVE Pocketbook and will definitely return again and again!"
