Newly renovated and has all of the comforts of home with a full working kitchen. If you want to be close to it all while you are visiting the Catskills, and have some privacy in your own little cottage then this may be the place for you. We are walking distance to the Catskill Creek, Hudson River, restaurants, breweries and historic sites. We are 2 hours from NYC, 10 minutes from Hudson Train Station and 35 minutes from Woodstock. Hunter & Wyndham Mountain are approximately 25 minutes away. The decor is lovely, it is well stocked with everything you need, and is in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for dog walking. We walked each morning up the hill to the convent and enjoyed looking at the older homes and gardens. You could walk into town from this place but we drove and parked along the street. There is a waterfront park nearby too. The hosts were wonderful and provided such clear instructions. The house looks completely new inside and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our one complaint is that the bed did not have the best mattress, sloping in the middle and probably fairly old. Combined living room kitchen was stylish and very comfortable, large enough to enjoy brunch for four, and play cards in the evening with our son and his girlfriend. This is the first time we brought our dog to a rental, and it worked out beautifully.
