"This hotel ticks all the boxes. Brilliant location for Dachstein and Salzkammergut regions, nice room sizes, good spread for continental breakfast and courteous staff. Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Only suggestions would be as follows: 1. Please provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms so that one can enjoy an early morning coffee with the stunning views, is that there is no kettle 2. Please train the bar staff for drinks/cocktail service as the coctails...

"Property is located in a very quiet area from one rail stop away from famous Hallstatt. it is little bit old, but they are working with renovation so it can be much better very soon on May24. There are not many places to eat outside and no shop, but there is bakery nearby and offers great choice of pastries. Very beautiful and scenery area, about 1,5km walk to the lake."

"Wow. We stayed for one night outside of Hallstatt. What a beautiful apartment. Loved the espresso machine available and the freshest farm eggs you could ask for. It slept three of us well. We walked into Hallstatt (3.5 miles). It was a lovely and very easy walk to get to Hallstatt. But Obertraun had its own charm. Would definitely recommend in all aspects!! "

"Highly recommend this property. It’s family owned and run, they treat you like family and make you feel welcomed. The restaurant for dinner was good and the breakfast selection was even better. The property is clean and renovated, it’s noticeable that they care about the hotel and are investing in its future. We will be back :)"

"Lovely traditional style hotel on the side of the lake with beautiful views. We had a great room which was more like a suite so we could chill after each days long walks. The staff were very friendly, relaxed and helpful, and they made the trip special as it was my husband's birthday. It also seemed like a lot of the locals came to eat there. Charming all round. "

It appeared basic and generic but was actually modern with loads of features to offer a personalised stay (interactive board, informed staff, local discount card). "Pěkné ubytování v centru Gosau, obchod s potravinami nedaleko. Dobré dojezdové vzdálenosti do údolí s jezery Gosausee, do Hallstattu a k výchozím místům na túry v pohoří Dachstein. Apartmány jsou v nově renovované historické budově. Velmi jsme ocenili topení v každé místnosti, které bylo možné regulovat podle potřeby. Součástí apartmánu je kuchyňská linka s nádobím, myčkou, sporákem, mikrovlnkou, rychlovarnou konvicí a velkou lednicí. Určitě doporučuji."
