Nothing to compain, walking distance to the heart of Bad Ischl, directly at the river banks. Parking is 100 m down the road but one can drop off luggage at the entrance. One was a bit newer, the other had been there a while. They went out of their way to let me in the gym until they closed, as well as helped me out with tea, and recommendation. I didn’t have wifi in my room and they did their best to get the wifi situated in a way that helped me. I didn’t end up getting better signal, but it was the effort on their part that showed me they were willing to go above and beyond. Close trip to Hallstatt, and Bad Ischl itself was beautiful. Wish there were more open food options but if you look hard enough or ask for recommendations you can find a couple good ones. Great location right by the water, restaurant had a fantastic steak, and breakfast buffet was also very good. I clearly stated 2 adults + 2 children when ordering a "Family Room" pictured showing bunk beds for the children. I was charged an additional 90 Euros (45/child) and was told they charge for the number of people in the room regardless of my disclosure of four people at the outset. Dieses Zimmer ist zudem in den öffentlich zugänglichen Bildmaterialien des Hotels nicht abgebildet. Auf unsere Beschwerde an der Rezeption konnte kein adäquates Lösungskonzept angeboten werden.
