« The new owners are working really hard to renovate this motel. The rooms are very comfortable, the place is very quiet. Yes there is a bit of a mess outside while work goes on but that can be overlooked. The owner is very nice and serviable. Breakfast is good but some bread and/or bagels would be a nice addition. »

« The front desk gentleman was fantastic. Got a room on the 2nd floor which is on the south side of the property and is level with the parking lot. We are on a 2 week camping trip and it was great to be able to park near the room. However the hotel is right on the highway and gets pretty noisy. Also there are a lot of people outside all hours of the night. Now we didnt have any issues but from a safety standpoint it concerned us. All told i believe the ownership is trying to make this a nice...

The owners left a free bottle of wine and it was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, seasonings, and a barbecue. there was a nice area for the dog to be able to run around and play in. They had movies available books and games, indoor and outdoor. »

« Booked the entire place for 7 friends for a long weekend. From the start Corby was very communicative and helpful. The actual Inn was better than expected. It's not much from the outside but inside it's pretty impressive. You can tell it was recently renovated with a lot of care. It was beautifully decorated and very clean and was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had literally everything we could have wanted. In fact, we all wished we had kitchens that nice to...

« This home is 10 x’s better than the pictures show. The house was so incredibly spacious, designed thoughtfully with plenty of space both inside and out, and literally has everything you need. You are close enough to town for essentials, and about 1 1/2 hour from Tahoe.The kitchen was big and perfect for making family meals with the living room next to it with a great tv and sound system which was perfect for watching holiday movies while cooking.The bedrooms are perfect size with the master...

« This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street. The hotel sits in the middle of the town and looks just like it must...
