"Reserved for a comfort triple with a separate bedroom with 2 twins/ 1 king and a twin in living room. Was put in a double with smaller room and no bedroom living area separated. The hotel staff continually argued that it was an upgrade like I was stupid. They did give me the room reserved after 2 days and provided free breakfast. I had to argue to get back the free breakfast when they removed the breakfast after 2 days. "

"Excellent location for a first timer in Barcelona. It is walking distance to the beach, and all the must see tourist attractions. This place is right on La Rambla so there is always a party going on outside of the hotel. If you’re a light sleeper I suggest requesting a room that is not facing the street, or pack some ear plugs. The noise didn’t bother us. We had a balcony view to the street and enjoyed all the people watching with a bottle of wine to end our nights. All the staff was friendly....

"A unique and nice hotel with super location to shopping, restaurants, and all of the excitement of The Rambla Area. Beautiful suite. The bathtub (and shower, in one) a bit difficult to get in & out as it was so high without a stool or handrail. The disappointing part is that the two elevators are extremely small and we got stuck in one; no lights, no power and no way to call for help. Front desk staff didn't seem terribly worried. "We booked three rooms for a family stay, with a request on booking to include one with accessible shower. On arrival, allocated rooms were readily changed to accommodate requirements. I was able to check in on arrival at 1.30pm (check in time 3pm). Reception staff were efficient and friendly. Our rooms on the third floor, which were very new, varied in size. They were spotlessly clean. Showers were excellent, with rain shower and standard fittings, and plenty of hot water with good pressure. Beds were firm but very comfortable. We all slept well. Breakfast at the hotel was superb! Varied selection of hot and cold buffet items, fresh bread and pastries, hot & cold drinks machines (bean to cup coffee) and Cava! The location of the hotel was ideal for us and a short stroll to La Rambla. There is a small supermarket next to the hotel and a selection of shops/eating outlets on this street. We all thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night break here and would stay again. Would recommend!"
