“Good hotel”
The hotel was very nice. Our room was just fine. Staff was great. We had the breakfast plan which was nice. That way we could eat and then be off site seeing. The location was good, close to the Rambles and ocean. We did a lot of walking around. Would recomend this hotel.
“Barcelona Hotel ambasador the best”
Very Nice Hotel ,close to every place and good attention to the huesped
“Love Barcelona!”
Very convenient location, just at the exit of the Parallel Metro Station, where you can take funicular and cable car to Mont Juic. Weather was beautiful - even in November! Go early to Sagrada Familia to beat the queues - an amazing place. Park Guell - one of Gaudi's creation is also worth a visit. A bit of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city with great views, musicians and art.
“I'll stay there again for sure!”
This place had great service, good location, big spacious rooms and a roof top pool, what more do you want?
“Couldn't be bettered!”
My husband and I make a habit of visiting a European city each half term and consider ourselves well travelled and I would have to say the this is without doubt the best hotel that we have yet stayed in. Comfortable large beds and well stocked bathrooms - staff were incredibly curteous and keen to help. Breakfast was substantial, fresh and appitising and efficiently served. Location was excellent, with the Ramblas area a very convenient walk away and a metro station outside the door of the hotel if travelling further afield. Take time ti get into the hills surrounding Barcelona, short train ride away and views are truly terrific! Barcelona is a super short break, the only downside is the ambiguous restaurant pricing - be careful as the price for the 'menu of the day' is doubled with a drink! Pay your bill at the counter and tip as you see fit, if you pay at the table you are likely to not see any change!
“One of Barcelona's best”
Getting to the hotel from the subway was easy, we came right up in front of it. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean but the bed was not so commfy but it was ok. Plenty of sidewalk cafes to grab a bite to eat. Nice area.
“a lovely hotel”
This hotel was really nice, there was a a lovely big bathroom. we was very comfortable, the location was good as it right next to las ramblas and the metro is right outside. area however did look a little unsavoury at night, but some parts of barcelona were also like this.
“Fab!!”
This hotel was very very friendly and helpful at all times. Whenever we run out of anything, it was brought stright to the room. One of our party was ill and they called an ambulance for her and sent their best wishes for her recovery. Very very friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant was fab for breakfast. Unfortunately too cold to try the pool but maybe next time!
“very convenient”
Took advice from another reviewer and asked for upper floor, large window, facing back. Exactly what we got, and view from 8th floor was fab. Reception staff extremely nice and helpful. Would stay there again
“Nice one!”
All staff were extremely helpful, especially the two female receptionists which really made our stay - Nice one!
