“Strongly recommend”
The location is very good!!! There is a Mall across the street and Tube station is about 3 min walk. The hotel is very clean and new! There is a wonderful view from top floor!!! They have a very friendly staff and them all speak english. The city is gorgeous and if I ever come back I would be delighted to stay at Novotel again!!!!
“Novotel brcelona provides convenience”
Easy access to shopping, mall across the street. Great little restaurant "Limonxelo" down the street from the mall towards the waterfront, just to your left on the first side street. Has a good prix fixe with your house wine included. We had the carpaccio, funghili pasta, margarita pizza, oceana pizza, and a jambon salad, all were very goods. Easy access to both the Hop on Hop off tourist bus (again on same side of street as mall but in opposite direction from the restaurant). Also easy access to Metro at Glories station. Workout room, view and pool at top were great. Breakfast Buffett rivaled that of very expensive brunches in North America. Only downfall was the rude front desk staff.... At least they were consistent... as it didn't matter who we dealt with.
“Great, clean hotel in a wonderful location”
Stayed at the Novotel Barcelona City in Feb11 with my wife and two children. The location of the hotel is great - just 5 mins walk from Glories station. Most of the tourist sites (apart from La Sagrada Familia) are outside walking distance, so being close to a metro station is definitely an advantage. The hotel is also just across the street from a large shopping mall with a restaurant/food court area and a large supermarket (Carrefour). The hotel is new and the rooms are extremely clean. It was a little cramped in the room as we had a king-size bed and a sofa bed for 4 of us - which didn't leave much room for much else (!). The sofa bed was not great - but what can you expect from a sofa bed in terms of comfort? The bathroom was very clean as was the rest of the room. The breakfast buffet is very good with a selection of cold and hot food. It can get a little crowded after about 8:30am, so it pays to go early! There is a terrace on the top floor (19th floor) which is open to the elements and you can get a great view of Barcelona. The gym is also well equipped and not extremely busy from what we could tell. All in all, a good experience and a great place to stay in Barcelona!
“perfect location for families”
friendly ,helpful staff. loaned us a travel plug. super clean room and good housekeeping staff. all pound top hotel close to metro, tram tourist bus and shopping centre (Glories) cant fault this hotel. Kids loved the roof top pool

A clean comfortable modern hotel. Conveniently located for visiting Barcelona. Excellent transport links. Good shopping complex opposite.staff friendly and helpful. Excellent roof top terrace with pool, gym & sauna for relaxing.
“Fantastic hotel in a great location!”
This hotel was the one of the most inexpensive options in Barcelona by far and it was incredible value for a four star hotel. The hotel had great rooms with an amazing buffet (morning and dinner option) located right on the tram line, close to the metro and across the street from a great shopping mall with incredible grocery store. I would recommend it over and over again!
“Très bon Hôtel”
Hôtel bien placé près du métro et du tram T4 et donc accès très rapide au centre, dans un quartier calme. Piscine très agréable sur le toit, avec vue sur sagrada familia, tour Jean Nouvel, la mer. Bar très agréable à côté, pour se relaxer le soir sur des sofas. Enfin, le personnel quadrilingue est très sympathique et très arrangeant.
“Memorable Barcelona”
Everything came together for this early spring weekend. The hotel, the weather and the city. The hotel is well positioned about 200 metres from Glories metro station and Torres Agbar, and is only 2 or 3 stops from the main city action. The hotel is modern, clean, well maintained and has all the expected facilities. The roof pool/bar area is a great area.
“Excellent hotel, would definately return and recommend to others”
This new hotel (only opened 1 year) was one of the best we had stayed in, and we are well travelled. Clean, comfortable, lifts that work, staff that listened and helped and one of the best breakfast bars I have ever seen. Would recommend the Novetel Barcelona City to anyone.
“Great hotel, great price”
Modern and hip hotel. Bathrooms and room were spacious and clean. Conveniently located near the metro stop which is only a couple of metro stops away from the main tourist attractions. Great price for the location. Great views of the torre de agbar and sagrada familia. I would highy recomment this place in the summer time so you can take advantage of the gorgeous rooftop. There is also a super market near by which was great to by water and snacks from for really cheap. Would stay here again.
