"Clean quiet hotel very close to La Rambles"

"A good price budget hotel in a perfect location in the Gothic Quarter, truly the heart of Barcelona. Simple, clean and basic ensuite rooms. Surrounded by a maze of alleys containing shops, bars and places to eat. Only negative was noise, some very noisy 5am shouting inside the hotel, although vast majority of people I ever saw were more grown up. "

"The hostel is clean, friendly and well-run. Location is outstanding, right near the Rambla and the Cathedral, and about 10 minutes walk from the metro station. We had a private room with A/C and it was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage during the day while exploring the city. Internet had an annoying facebook login thing so I didn't use it."

"Property - Served it’s purpose. An overnighter. Great place to come into and reset for the next day. It’s a hostel and expect to have room mates. Also note, hostel is on a busy street. Close to the Cathedral and other highlights of Barcelona Tip: Ensure you have flip flops as you are sharing the bathroom with 8 neighbors. Note: you are given a sheet, however you must pay for a towel. (Towel is small). Bring your own if you need a deluxe towel. "

"I absolutely loved the affordability and convenient location of the Parisien, which was right in the middle of La Rambla. Douglas and the other staff are very also very friendly and accommodating. The inside was very quiet for the whole week that I stayed there."

"I would not recommend a stay here during the summer. The ceiling fans in the room do nothing to cool them down. The rooms are tiny, not even enough room for two people to stand up at one time and the heat is unbearable. You can’t even open the window because outside is so noisy - club music playing loudly till 7:30am. During our stay several people checked out early because of the heat of the rooms. "
