I absolutely loved the affordability and convenient location of the Parisien, which was right in the middle of La Rambla. Douglas and the other staff are very also very friendly and accommodating. The inside was very quiet for the whole week that I stayed there.

This is on a great location, right on Las Ramblas across from the market. Kind and helpful staff. Bring earplugs....lots of books. Slow internet but works.

This is a no-frills, budget accommodation. Being right on La Rambla, you feel like you’re right in the centre of things, so don’t expect quiet. It’s close to all the old town, plenty of shopping and dining too. I found it an easy walk (about 40 minutes) to La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, as well as Barcelona Sants train station. The staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay, thank you.

Small unclean room. Loud drunk people all night on La Rambla. Shared balcony with the neighbor and no lock on balcony door. The check in staff was friendly.

Cheap price, cheap room.

Honestly, for the price, it wasn't bad. We had a very large room, with a small balcony overlooking the Rambla. After seeing the other comments, I can say it's a bit noisy, but it wasn't too bad. On the other hand, you have to close the windows at night, which can be problematic as there's no air conditioning in the room, only a fan. So I wouldn't recommend it in the middle of summer. The shared rooms were nice and clean. The other travelers were discreet and quiet. The mattress and pillows were horrible though. Really uncomfortable.

The worst hostel I have ever been. No cozy, no clean service, no soap, no private, no hair dryer. The workers are pretty nett, but I recommend to stay better condition, if you want to have beautiful memory in Barcelona.

Amazing location, staff really friendly, but rooms are way too hot. I wouldn’t stay there during hot months. There was a fan up on the wall but it didn’t help much. I’m sure it’s perfect in the off season.

Bare bones accommodations. When I arrived, they had laundry hanging in my room that had to be moved out before I could settle in. I was visiting during a heatwave (obviously not there fault) and the fan in my room was broken and very dirty. No hot water in the shower I used. Other visitors very noisy well past the curfew. It got the job done, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Never saw the room

My flight was cancelled so I didn't arrive until the following day. The hotel had 2 phone lines, neither of which was answered over 2 days nor could Hotels.com contact them. I arrived a day late to find my room re-let! Jorge who worked there was very helpful and found me a room elsewhere. But what a farce, no phones working!
