"Good option near Byward Market. The rooms are clean and have microwaves, small refrigerators, and some other kitchen items. There is limited parking under the hotel so ask for this when you make your reservation. I was originally given a first floor room with an outside glass door. As a single female traveler, this made me uncomfortable but they were able to move me to a 2nd floor room for the night. The portable air conditioner kept the room cool but was super loud. "

"Spacious! Loved the large room with two queen beds and spacious bathroom, had a leisurely bath last night in the tub (not every hotel room offers tubs anymore!). Beds were comfy although the covers could have been a bit heavier. Check in was smooth and desk clerk answered all my questions. For being near the airport it was surprisingly quiet."

Close to downtown without the hustle/bustle of the Downtown as it’s a few blocks walk. The only concerning issue was that on our walk back, my son chose a road 1 street over from hotel & it was in the area of a large homeless shelter. There were several people living on the street in tents & boxes, or no shelter m. Although this is found in every city, just be aware of walking...
