“great place”
This is a brand new Motel 6 off the highway in Kingston. It's very modern looking and "eco-friendly," which is cool; be sure to notice the ironic vending-machine wallpaper in the lobby. Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Room was very comfortable. I read some reviews that complained that 'the walls were too thin.' When is that not the case in a motel? Did not bother us. The only drawback is the location: it is miles away (about five minutes by car) from the city; moreover, there is nothing in walking distance except for a gas station and an A&W. If you are stuck there without a car (like we were for a day), you will be saved by the wide variety of dining establishments that deliver; Ankor Thai was particularly delicious. If you're visiting Kingston and you have a car, then I would 100% recommend this place.

“Quick stop in Kingston”
The first room they gave me hadn't been cleaned up yet but after going back down to the front desk they were extremely apologetic and got me a clean room ASAP. This new hotel is clean and so far well looked after, the employees were also very nice. It's right next to the 401 so there is a little highway noise but barely noticeable. An extremely good value for the dollar.
“Great Value”
First off, the price of the hotel was the lowest we found in the whole Kingston area. Besides that, however, we were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the hotel! Brand new, very modern, spotlessly clean! The rooms were well appointed with 2 queen beds, desk, flat screen TV, and a whole kitchenette (stovetop, microwave, sink, full-sized refrigerator)...Free wi-fi as well. It lacked some of the other extras in the room like complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, but not to worry, if you wanted those things, the front desk happily provided them for free (instead of having people find them and take them from their rooms that don't actuallly want them or intend to use them!) I thought that was very smart and efficient. Coffee was free in the morning in the lobby. The downside is that it is off the highway, so at times noise was a bit of an issue and you obviously need a car to get anywhere. For the low price, I was very happy with the quality of the hotel - great value!

Great rates! The room was bright, clean, and modern. Front desk was helpful-even lent me a hairdryer! Great value for your money.
“bit high in price but clean”
The rooms were a little small for what you paid for. I thought it was a little expensive with no extra benefits like a complimentary breakfast. They had apples and granola bars, coffee, hot tea, chot chocolate. I have found hotels will offer this kind of thing if they don't have a complimentary breakfast and hotels with complimentary breakfast don't cost as much as this one did.
“Like staying in an Ikea catalogue!”
This was an unusual hotel room. It was very clean, the desk staff were lovely and the price was great. But this is the first time I have ever stayed in a hotel with no carpet on the floors and no artwork of any kind on the walls. It really felt like some kind of ultra modern European or maybe Asian experience. We had a bouncy little girls' hockey team staying above us, which made it a bit noisy (maybe the lack of carpet helped here?). I kind of liked it as an unusual experience, but it wasn't a "comfort and cosy" type place. I think the price may attact teams, so ask when you check in! You're in the "boonies" ( an industrial area near the highway) but there's a Tim's for coffee a short drive away. Try it if you want cheap and clean and different!
