"Beautiful old classic hotel in a great location. "
Our room was very quiet with a very big bathroom. The hotel is an old classic house -- beautiful. the breakfast was great...simple but good food and very pleasant. the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Although there was no parking available at the hotel (they have a few spaces to rent) we found reasonable parking nearby. close to good restaurants and to the subway. I would stay there again!

"Fantastic Hotel in the Heart Of Old Town Montreal"
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Auberge du Vieux-Port. We really wanted to find a small boutique property and we were first attracted to the AVP through their photos and reviews that had been posted on various websites. We were not disappointed. The staff were top notch and very helpful in all matters. The architecture and the finish details were evident everywhere. We had a Deluxe King room and it was spacious and full of character. The roof top terrace was fantastic. Breakfast was included and there were plenty of options to choose from. All delicious!! The location is unbeatable and we were able to walk everywhere. We have had the good fortune of traveling worldwide and this hotel is right up there with our other favorites. Would highly recommend to those wanting to stay in Old Town.

"Great value for your visit to Old Port of Montreal"
My family visited the beautifully decorated Basillica du Notre Dame which was an 8 min walk from the hotel. Our Queen Suite had an excellent view of the St. Lawrence. Plenty of shops and food vendors lining Rue de la Commune. The rooms were equally beautiful, clean and comfortable to stay in. And I must say quite private. Very courteous and friendly staff.

"Nice hotel, great old town location"
Trendy hotel with active after hours bar/restaurant, no noise issues. Great location for old town everything close. 1/2 hour walk to Jazz festival/ 5 minutes to Notre Dame. Food was excellent. Staff laid out a nice breakfast complimentary with room. Had issue with small ants in room. Staff had it taken care of by next day/old hotel. No issues with ants noted after that. My family would stay here again, it was our favorite hotel on our recent trip to Quebec/Montreal/Toronto and Ottawa so we stayed in allot.

"Best hotel in Montreal"
Stayed with 2 teenagers, and the suite was spacious with lots of privacy. The staff is very friendly and we're very patient with our terrible French. Free wifi is a bonus, too. Easy walk to all the sights, great restaurants, and shopping.

Start your exploration of the city with a trek through Old Montreal, the city’s historic district. Head to Marche Bonsecours, a classic domed building dating back to 1847. Grab a snack at one of its many cafes or restaurants, or visit its boutiques to pick up gifts for your friends waiting back at home. For a taste of the city’s illustrious past, visit the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, which focuses on the archaeology and history of the area.

You can add more flavor to your trip by staying in a Montreal historic hotel. Stay in a vintage building that boasts unique architectural touches, like brick walls and vast fireplaces in the lobby. Some of these hotels were built during the Victorian era, over 100 years ago.
