"Great hotel located right by the Bell Centre"
We spent one night here and were very happy with our choice. Very clean, friendly staff and the location can't be beat. A 10-min walk from the Central VIA Station and a block and a half from the Bell Centre. Very close to Ste. Catherine St., shopping, restaurants, pubs. We'd stay there again without hesitation.

"Beautiful old hotel with a great location. "
Our initial room was a bit small, but still very nice with a view of the water. The management was very nice and changed our room to much nicer one when we had a noise problem with the terrace bar above our room. I recommend booking directly with the hotel and asking for a room in the original building. Rooms in the newer addition cannot be reached without negotiating some stairs because the floors are not at the same level as the part of the hotel that has the elevator. The rooms have beautiful old stone and exposed beams with modern comforts.

"Hotel at the heart of downtown Montreal. "
Relatively economical hotel that is under-rated for the level of service in terms of cleanliness, and staff friendliness, which is by-far at least at a 4 Star level. The hotel is minutes away from plenty of shopping stores and restaurants. The only down point that I can think of was the continental breakfast, which was a bit weak, but that didnt really weigh in on my evaluation at all, since I ended up enjoying plenty of great tasting foods that the restaurants, within the hotel's vicinity, had to offer.

"Very nice, quaint hotel"
This little hotel is very quaint and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We originally had a room on the third floor but as there is no elevator and we could not manage the stairs, we were moved to a room on the 1st floor. When we arrived, the young lady who checked us in even carried our suitcase to the room for us. The room was very clean and much larger than we anticipated. The location was excellent for us as we wanted to see Old Montreal and were taking a cruise. The cruise terminal is practically accross the street so we were able to walk. We plan to visit Montreal again and will definitely try to get into this hotel again.

Start your exploration of the city with a trek through Old Montreal, the city’s historic district. Head to Marche Bonsecours, a classic domed building dating back to 1847. Grab a snack at one of its many cafes or restaurants, or visit its boutiques to pick up gifts for your friends waiting back at home. For a taste of the city’s illustrious past, visit the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, which focuses on the archaeology and history of the area.

You can add more flavor to your trip by staying in a Montreal historic hotel. Stay in a vintage building that boasts unique architectural touches, like brick walls and vast fireplaces in the lobby. Some of these hotels were built during the Victorian era, over 100 years ago. Despite their age, all establishments have been completely updated internally; you’ll sleep in plush bedding, enjoy hot showers, and be able to upload all your daily photos to social media through the hotel’s Wi-Fi. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast amid antique fixtures before you head out for another day in Montreal.
