We had reserved a loft for a week stay. A few days before we arrived we found out that there had been a M&R emergency in the loft, and that it wouldn't be available. We were booked into a superior room and were quite pleased with the hotel's ability to move us around quickly and seamlessly.

This place was really nice, you can't beat the square footage for the price and location. Our daughter loved having her own loft area. It felt a little excessive with our short stay there but it was the offseason and about the same price as a regular hotel room, so we chose it. We also got upgraded to a larger loft than originally booked. Staff was amazingly friendly and helped with our luggage. We didn't find the stairs too invasive. The only thing missing from the kitchen was creamer or half-and-half for the Nespresso coffee but I was able to get some from the lobby. The only thing I could say I missed was the ambience and "feel" of being able to go downstairs to the lobby and absorbing that sort-of atmosphere you feel when on vacation.

this is a wonderful set of apartments in Old Montreal. Beautiful location by the port, park and St. Laurant river and yet close to everything by walking or metro. The apartments are in old historic buildings and decorated with a mix of brick, stone, hardwood beams and floors and modern appliances. the staff is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. You can stay at a high rise hotel downtown, but we prefer to be in the Vieux Port section of Montreal. Very nice area to walk and the french language, food and culture are a wonderful and important part of the Montreal experience.
