Found it a little loud this time as we were above the front entrance and could hear everyone hanging around the entrance, plus dance competition guests were in the halls till 11 pm and up at 6:30. No big deal. We are familiar with the area and have stayed here many times. "

"The Halliburton is a cozy place just minutes from the waterfront. I have become a fan after several visits. I hope they will bring back the dining room (with another excellent chef) and I would like breakfast to be included in the daily rate. Otherwise I am so happy when I stay there -- I consider it a wonderful discovery. "

"I stayed for 4 nights when I was in town for business. Great stay, wonderful breakfast. I also ate at the hotel restaurant one night, and while the staff were lovely, the food was not great at dinner. The room comes stocked with 3 full-size bottles of wine (one out, two in the fridge) - added expense if you drink them ! But you can also ask for those to be removed. "

"The passcode system was glitchy to enter the building when we first arrived. There was no one in the office, so text messaging had to be used. That incurred a long wait and we weren't sure if were getting in. Those issues could attributed to the fact we online reserved the afternoon before, less than 24 hours. There was construction on Granville adjacent to the building. We were out all day so that didn't bother us."

"Our stay was midweek and early in the spring season so there was not a concern with noise. It was quite warm and though I turned the thermostat off there was still warm air entering through the heater. No air conditioning as of yet.The portable fan worked okay, it was an unusually warm day for that time of the year. We were on an higher floor as well. I must say the amendities were of high quality.
