Beautiful but a bit neglected in spots. I absolutely loved the place though. Construction was going on but it was tolerable. The staff are truly amazing. The best hotel staff I’ve ever dealt with. Would highly recommend.

I got a free upgrade to a King size bed which was nice, and unlike many hotels found it easy to get to sleep. The hotel was showing a bit of age with slow elevators and old gym equipment, but everything was serviceable. Probably says more about me than anything, but I could not figure out how to open my room door using the key in a single attempt, I always had to swipe twice. Road construction made it inconvenient to get to the hotel from downtown at night, as had to take roundabout routes to the back or via the pedway. Admittedly google maps was leading me wrong mainly here.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The construction around the hotel was a major inconvenience and noisy and made it difficult to get places. The hotel had a lot of broken items including elevators that aggressively shut on people.

Staff was freindly and helpful. Hotel needs major update. Very outdated. Elevators only one working for building (other Elevators out of service). Rooms were clean but in washroom leaky faucet, tv cable or signal very unstable. Wifi in building ok. Not too reliable. Constantly reconnect. Overall room(needs update or renovate).

The hotel was in a great location and you can’t beat the price. There was construction out front of the hotel but there is an indoor tunnel pathway that takes you right down to the harbour. That was great! Room was dated but had everything we needed. One bonus was there was a very small balcony I could sit out on while my kids fell asleep. Very small as in it only fit two chairs sideways but great for what I needed. I would consider staying again for the price.
