"I visit Coco la palm at least once a year. It is my favorite resort in Negril. The comfort, food, people and good vibes will keep me coming back. "

"The included activities, dining and drinking options and quality, as well as free shuttles to area excursions are incredible. The resort staff make you feel welcome and encourage guests to participate in everything you can squeeze into your time at the resort. The fitness center and spa made it easy to have a nice morning workout, followed by some laps in the pool, and a game of pickleball, or tennis and even squeeze in a massage if you enjoy them. The juice/smoothie bar made for a great finishing touch. Plan ahead and make your reservations for dinner at Feathers or Lemongrass restaurants and you won't be disappointed. Patois patio restaurant also has great food and doesn't require reservations. The jerk chicken at the Scotch Bonnet poolside restaurant is amazing and the burgers and other fare like authentic Jaimacan Pattis are also very good. The buffet style offerings at the Palms are venerally good with a large variety to choose from. Tons of nightlife fun can be had at either the martini bar or the Aura nightclub/piano bar. Connect with the staff a d embrace in the activities offered, and you'll have a great time!"

"The two best things about Sandy Haven Resort are its location and the staff (outside of the beach bartenders). Geographically, this hotel is located in a great section of Seven Mile Beach. It's within walking distance to many of the larger and more popular resorts as well as a couple of great food spots. The staff are also very kind and helpful. Everything else about the hotel is pretty solid; clean (albeit slightly outdated) rooms, no pests, and easy beach access. The buffalo wings were not great but the mimosas and rum punches were good. Overall, I would stay here again but as a heads up to future guests, beware of one of the young bartender's scams. If you do not watch him make the drinks, he'll try to charge you (in cash) for double shots in single drinks that you didn't ask for. Would have reported it to the manager if I had more time but I had to leave for an event. Terrible on that bartender's part but hopefully one bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch here."
