Perched on 137 meters (150 yards) of terraces atop seaside cliffs, the Samsara Resort offers a freeform pool and large cool-water spa tub. Ladders lead from the lowest cliffs to the sea, where there are reefs for snorkeling and scuba diving (surcharges) directly off shore.
An oceanfront spa center offers a variety of relaxing messages, facials, body scrubs, hair braiding, and nail care, all just steps away from the tropical Caribbean Sea.
Complimentary scheduled shuttles provide daily transportation to and from partner resort, Legends Beach Resort, on Negril's Seven Mile Beach, where guests may use all facilities (surcharges may apply).
Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Chez Maurice restaurant highlights Continental and regional cuisine. On Sundays and Thursdays, a calypso band plays on a cliff-side deck. Adjacent to the pool bar, a game room contains table tennis, billiard tables, and a dartboard. Hammocks are located throughout the grounds.
Transportation to the airport is available on request.
The resort does not allow pets.

This Jamaica resort offers 52 guestrooms in two-story buildings made of stucco on the ocean-side of the street and in single-story wooden cottages across the street from the ocean. Standard and superior rooms are not located in the resort's four freestanding pillar houses.
All rooms include ceiling fans, and some rooms are also air-conditioned. All provide patios or balconies with ocean or garden views. Rooms are strewn with fresh blossoms for guests' arrival. Televisions have U.S. cable channels.
The guestrooms were renovated in October 2011.
All-Inclusive Details
Guests can book rooms at Samsara Resort for a rate that is either for the room only or for all-inclusive. All-inclusive rates are higher because they include onsite food and beverages in the room rate (some restrictions may apply, for example, to premium food items or drinks; or to dining at specific restaurants). Guests who book all-inclusive rates do not have to pay extra for onsite activities such as tennis. Please note items that are not included; these require a surcharge.

Chez Maurice Restaurant - Dining room with panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea. Terrace dining (weather permitting). Continental and regional cuisine. Buffet and à la carte selections. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Pool bar - Oceanfront bar. Daily sunset happy hour. Tropical drinks include fresh banana daiquiris. Food service. Open from mid-morning to late evening.

A dive center at the resort offers beginner's instruction and certification courses (surcharges). The dive center also offers scuba-diving excursions (surcharges). Use of the resort's tennis court is complimentary, as are racquets and balls. Billiards and table tennis are also available.
Water sports, including personal watercraft and parasailing, are available from independent operators on Negril's Seven Mile Beach, where Samsara's partner resort, Legends Beach Resort, is located (surcharges). Samsara provides complimentary roundtrip transportation mornings and afternoons to Legends Beach Resort. Negril Hills Golf Club, 16 km (10 mi) from the resort, is open to the public.

The hotel's full-service on-site spa, Sugar Island, boasts an ocean view with two outdoor treatment rooms. The spa offers a wide variety of body/beauty treatments (advanced reservations required) that include massage, manicures/pedicures, body scrubs, facials and beauty services.

“THE place to relax in Negril, Peace, quiet, swim, snorkel, sunsets! WOW!”
Samsara was perfect! Wonderful staff, great food, lots of things to do in walking distance.
“GOOD LITTLE GETAWAY”
The DRIVE to this location is over a hour long from the Airport; expect to take the Tour Bus ($25.00 per person- One Way) or a Cab ($100.00 One Way). Once there at first glance at this Resort, you expect the worst. But after the check-in and the Escort directs you to you’re desired room; you will find out that this Resort isn’t that Bad. If you expect this Resort to be on the standards of the Major Hotels you’re at the wrong place. Some of the rooms at this Resort have a rustic style; if this is what you’re looking for, this is it. The staff was polite and very welcoming, very receptive to you’re needs. The food was okay; don’t expect a large serving of food or drinks (6oz cups). There isn’t an ice machine or ice containers in the rooms, so either you have to buy a bag of ice from the store of continue to get cups of ice from the bar area (6oz cups). Take the shuttle to their sister Resort (Legend) for the Beach and Sand; but stay at the Samsara for the Pool; Jacuzzi and the BEST VIEW. Plenty of places to eat on the streets; wear comfortable shoes/sandals for walking. Some of the natives can be entertaining while others can be a little annoying after awhile. OVERALL MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD RETURN.
“Great place, mediocre food”
I have to say this was the best vacation I've ever been on. The hotel was beautiful, view was great and everyone was extremely accomodating. I would definitely upgrade to one of the "hut houses" - it's worth it. The only complaint my girlfriend and I had was that the food in the all inclusive package was only OK, however the drinks make it all worthwhile-

We had a great time at Samsara! Can't beat the value here. Nice people, clean room, good food and the most outstanding ocean view I've ever seen in my life. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends.
“In LOVE with this hotel!”
This is a fantastic hotel! A friend and I stayed for our Spring Break and it was the perfect fit for us! This is a very, very personal resort, the feel and the atmosphere is very friendly as well as inviting! The people who work for the resort made our trip by being friendly and welcoming every meal or interaction. The best thing about this hotel is the view, absolutely spectacular! We are already planning our trips back and cannot wait to stay again at Samsara! Great for older college students who want a more relaxed Spring Break, and aren't into the booming bass found on the beachfront hotels!
“Wish I was still there!”
I had read mixed reviews about Samsara before going and was a bit unsure of what I would find when I arrived. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and fell in love with the place from the first day. If you can, splurge for the "penthouse" rooms that are on stilts overlooking the ocean. The intimate setting and hammock on the front porch is perfect for enjoying the sunset or wasting the day away!

I absolutely love Jamaica and Samsara is a perfect place to stay. The hotel is situated along Negrils cliffs, which offer a spectacular view. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful. Those two things make for an awesome stay. First time visitors should take note, any negative reviews are from people expecting way too much for what they are paying. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The rooms; well maintained, clean and simple. The buffets consist of a mix of Jamaican, American and European dishes; all well prepared and you won t leave hungry. If you are expecting marble floors and brass fixtures, 24 Hr. room service and meals made to order then prepare to pay much more somewhere else. If you want a relaxing vacation for yourself or your family, Samsara is a great hotel in a fun town. While there go down to, Samsaras sister hotel (guest from one, are welcome at the other). You can spend the day, enjoying the same great service, along the beach. Visitors should, also, not be afraid to walk or taxi downtown to visit the shops, markets and mingle with the residents.
