Very close to the National park entrance (5 minute drive). Had a microwave, coffee maker, small fridge and they provide breakfast the night before so you can wake up early and get to the volcano. Well thought out and very friendly. Clean and modern. We would certainly stay again

The only downside to our stay here was that we had to leave! We only had one night booked; our destination was on another part of the island. Even so, we were extended a warm welcome and spoiled by our hosts' generosity (and the view!). The building and its surroundings are lovely--beautifully maintained and the owners have clearly paid a lot attention to detail. This is a lovely B&B in a heritage home. The ocean was right outside my window and there was a lovely sitting area in the room. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners and managers were very kind. It is located just across the bridge from historic downtown Hilo, so it’s quiet but convenient for restaurants and shopping.

The breakfast was great! Kelly, the host, is very kind and helps with everything you need. We enjoyed staying and traveling around the area, ended up staying 6 nights exploring. Check out Awapuhi Labyrinth nearby for example. We especially enjoyed the nightly jacuzzi floats under the stars and nature sounds. Very recommended for the great value for money.

This property was a great place to stay while visiting volcano national park and the surrounding area. The animals were really friendly and a joy to be around. Theresa greeted us when we got there and provided us with helpful information on things to see and do. The breakfast was amazing! We appreciated the many thoughtful touches like the heated blanket, heated towel rack, flashlight and umbrellas for visiting the park. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. We chose it for its location on the Kona side of the island, but off of 'resort row'. After a very long travel day, it was wonderful to be welcomed Hawaiian style with a shell and kukui nut lei, fresh fruit juice and cold towels. Aloha Junction Guest House was formerly a B&B, but now considered a non-hosted guest house. The house is a beautiful former plantation house. The guest rooms are themed. Ours a cowboy theme. Really cute & tastefully done. We arrived to a welcome basket of food for our first breakfast. There was a microwave, fridge, kettle & coffeemaker in our room. The kitchen was off limits to guests. Beautiful natural spaces! Mature, rare trees on the property, framing the hot tub. Make sure to know what you are booking. Other guests might not be as respectful as you (eg smoking cigs right outside your window)

We stayed there for 5 nights, very beautiful view. It's very nice have b'fast there.

Our expectations were blown away. The suite was gorgeous, clean and spacious. It had everything we needed and more. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Waikoloa area. Pickup some snokelling gear and check out the black sand beach at the neighboring property. It was a highlight of our trip.

This hotel is wonderful, it's beyond our expectation, we had 2 bedroom suites, which was specious and comfort, love the amenities, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use any of them. I would recommend to stay here for at least five days.

Quiet, great beach.

The most stand out thing about this Fairmont is the staff. Very friendly, polite and helpful. We were at Fairmont Mayakoba earlier this year - they need to come to Hawaii for training.
