Nice property right near metro station

My stay at the Hotel Riu was lovely! The staff at the front desk and in the lobby were always very kind and helpful. They offer a complimentary breakfast every morning, but be warned that it’s only available between 7-10 am. Waiting for elevators at the hotel can be lengthy especially during breakfast hours so I found myself using the stairs more often than not. In terms of their room cleaning service, it is very minimal. When you request the room to be cleaned beware that sheets are not replaced unless you specifically asked. They do remove the trash and provide new towels every time, however I do wish that they would sweep or vacuum once in a while because I noticed how dirty the floors were throughout my trip. Overall, I would still recommend Hotel Riu for those who want to stay in the city as the location is amazing and close to many shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions!

I booked this property after reading all the 10 ratings. That's a joke. Non of the door in the apartment close properly. Dryer was full of wet towels and bedsheets that we need to end up drying separately and folded ourselves. Check in process was very confusing and no one was at the lobby of the property. I definitely would never book this property again.

Amazing hotel. The best stay we could have imagined in Yorkville Toronto for 5 plus days. It was magical.

The construction noise was quite intense, but the staff moved me to a room away from the noise without any fuss.
