Pacific Coast Scuba Diving Vacations

I did not like the fact that the steak place was only open certain times of the week and you could not make a reservation, but you had to go waiting in line about 45 minutes before it opened in order to get seated The breakfast buffet was not all that great The buffet was really good the lunch and dinner the American country bar was an excellent place to go and relax, and they had some nice shows at the theater

Pros: The resort (room) werr really clean and well maintained. The view of the beach (sunset) was beautiful and the view of the green mountains. The daily night live shows are a very nice touch. The daily pool side activities for adults and kids were fun, the staff were nice and helpful. The kid pool plus the slide was fun for my 6 year old. She definitely enjoyed it. Cons: very far out from airport (45-50 ish mins) and malecon (20-25ish mins), Pool bar/ music/ pool waterfall and kid slide water turns off at 6 (technically 10 minutes before), if you want to keep enjoying the pool after the pool bar closes down you have to be pat dry (not dripping water) or the inside bar will tell you to go out and get dry, my husband got food poisoning on the last night there (ceviche). Overall not a bad stay but i will definitely seek closer resort.

I cannot say enough about this resort. I was there for a friends weekend with my bestie and we could not have chosen a better place. The drinks were strong and plentiful, the food was enjoyable (and bonus, you did not need reservations for most places!), the property was maintained wonderfully, and there were also pool chairs available (might be because we were there in low season, but still appreciated!). I especially appreciated there being a family side and an adults side (as a mom traveling without her kids for a change!). The staff also went way above and beyond. I dropped my phone while out in the Zona Romantica the night before we departed and was freaking out (understandably). Jennifer, in Concierge, went WAY above and beyond to do sleuthing between out Uber drive (who was also fantastic) and Find My Phone location services. I ended up getting it back with credit card and IDs intact and would not have been able to do so without her help. I don't normally want to repeat places but Secrets will be in future vacation plans for sure. Thank you to all the staff! (and special should out to Alejandro, our butler!)

The staff throughout the hotel were attentive, friendly, and consistently polite, which made our stay very enjoyable. The buffet offered a wide variety of flavorful options, and the rooms were exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel is in a great location. If you’re planning to visit the Malecón, it’s about a 15-minute walk, and we felt safe walking there during our stay. In addition to the buffet, the hotel has two restaurants that require dinner reservations. We tried Corazón Contento, the Mexican restaurant. The food was decent, but it wasn’t particularly memorable, so I don’t think you’d be missing out if you decided to skip it. There’s also an Italian restaurant on the property, although we didn’t have the chance to try it. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning.

Our stay at fiesta americana was great. We loved how clean the whole resort was and the food was very good and alot of variety at the buffet.

Clean room but water at restrooms and showers had very low pressure, like you have to be at least half hour at shower to be clean and flush the toilet at least 2-3 times. Food was ok and the staff was awesome! cheap alcohol but I understand.
