The room is lovely if you want no view or sunlight (nternal view means a weird window to the hallway / other rooms). It’s dark and peaceful though. The photos of the rooftop terrace are misleading. It is a separate business and the discount is nice but you will not feel comfortable hanging out in or around the pool. They have redone the patio and it is now a restaurant.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but lacked the amenities to justify the cost and they definitely cut corners. For example single ply toilet paper, limited access to water (water in room was 10$ a bottle), cheap sheets and toilet seats. Restaurants are over priced, limited service at the pool, very few towels. The cost and reviews are justified by the location which was excellent. It’s a 3 or 4 star charging 5 star rates.

The staff were absolutely amazing; every single one of them; from the receptionist to the doormen. 5\* plus. The shower has intermittent hot water. The coffee machine didn’t work. The TV channels were missing. And our room was outside the church. The bells rang ‘loudly’ from 06:30 right through to 22:00 every day; Sunday to Saturday. Breakfast area had real character … but the food was cold. Bar lacks ambience but they make a grea G&T. The pool area worked but it’s a tad smaller in reality than the hotel photos. Central location but church bells at the back and loud square at the front. The hotel has real character though and the area is very safe. UBER drivers park outside; amazingly quick service when you need to get around the City. But we aware of The Bells.

My stay here was wonderful. I needed somewhere to stay during my layover and this was ideal. It was close to the airport and the staff was very kind. Check in was a breeze and the hotel was very modern and elegant. The hotel shuttle was very convenient and they even packed me dinner to go so I could catch my flight. I cannot say enough good things ago this hotel and would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with amazing view of the ocean. Good food, comfortable rooms. Close to the city and easy transportation to the airport. It would be nice to have OTC medicines at the convenience store inside the resort in case of an emergency.
