Discovery Islands Kid friendly Vacations

TRAVELLERS BEWARE!! Garden view executive loft suite CAD 600 for 1 night.We arrived at 2:45 knowing that we were early and was told that will make sure that the room is available ASAP. We went back 4 pm to be told that it will be another 20 minutes before the room will be ready.We eventually got the keys at 4:30pm! It was obvious that the room was hastily cleaned and the tiled entrance was mopped leaving puddles of water on the floor on which my wife promptly slipped and fell injuring her back. She dried the floor with a bath mat which was black from the dirt. Cleaner handed us a new bath mat and a neatly folded very dirty towel. As there was only 2 towels and 1 face cloth in the bathroom we asked her for 2 hand towels and face cloths and said she will be right back.Never came back. I had to go to front desk to demand towels after 90 minutes. Only 2 decaf coffee pods and one tea pod in room - had to go buy our own pods. Not enough cutlery for the supposed 4 people that can be accommodated. Rats in the ceiling that kept us awake all night. I was assured that the manager would phone to rectify our concerns - never phoned. I sent an email giving them another chance to rectify our concerns but nothing. I held off on posting this to give manager a chance.Absolutely horrendous yet there is so much potential if managed properly.
