April Point Resort and Spa Location is million dollar ocean view, great garderns, and some wildlife. First of all the name is misleading as the Spa has not been functional for a very long time. I will start off by praising two staff people. The gardener saw we were older and helped take our bags to the cabin. The food server was informative, friendly and fun. Now my deficiency list 1. Railings on cabin stairs and porch are rotten and unsafe. . 2. Railings along major sidewalk rotten and unsafe. . 3. Several stairs are also deteriated.. a) stairs at our cabin b) stairs exiteing the outside dining area the bottom step is unsafe. 4. Several room inconviences. A) no plug for bathroom sink b) the hydo tub did not function c) no television d) no telephone in our cabin e) internet was spotty at best. F) the privacy blind on our door appeared to be not functioning g) main window at sunset showed how dirty windows were. 5. Inside Dining area is infested with ants, while we ate at tables we had multiple unwanted guests gathering up any crumbs. 6. Speaking of dining room, theprepacked breakfast boxes were wasteful and disaapointing. Would have been far better to have a buffet style buns and yougurt As it is this old resort appears to have been neglected for a long period of time, and may be on its decline years. I would not want to be the insurance holder

This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were so warm and friendly, and the view was incredible! Definitely recommend.

This is a gorgeous property, the pictures really don’t do the scenery justice. The rooms are dated, but still nice. The only issue we had was our bathroom was full of little ants, but we couldn’t tell anyone because we noticed after 8pm and it wasn’t an emergency situation. Front desk wasn’t there to talk to at 10:10am when we left otherwise we would have liked to tell them. But aside from the ants we really enjoyed our stay. Just a side note- no AC if you run really hot, but they do supply a fan which we really appreciated!

Beautiful location on the water, very peaceful amongst nature. Lovely greeting at check in (very professional French man). We would definitely go back, get a room directly overlooking the water next time. Beds very comfy place very clean.
