Very nice place to stay, close to everything and amazing views

About an hour from San Jose and STRONGLY recommend at least 1 or 2 nights coming to or from. This is an extraordinary experience. The casitas are over the top, but the 5 waterfalls hike, the Aviary, Frog experience, Big Cats and Butterfly house will blow your mind. It is all rescued animals given the best experience that could be created. I will find a way to visit there EVERY time I go to Costa Rica.

Hello, My wife and I stayed here for 4 days. The service was incredible, breakfast included , and they even upgraded our room. Would recommend anyone to stay here if they never have visited Costa Rica. The staff provided great service and recommendations. It felt like I was in the show White Lotus lol

Our stay at Gaia Hotel & Reserve was wonderful, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding level of service. From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness of the entire staff. You can tell that providing exceptional service is part of the culture of this hotel. Everyone made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease throughout our stay. A few people especially stood out: Chris at the front desk and concierge was fantastic—always attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Oscar was wonderful from the moment we arrived, helping with our luggage and transporting us around the property with such kindness and a great attitude. The restaurant staff was equally impressive, especially Abraham and Jack, along with the rest of the team, who were consistently warm, helpful, and attentive. The property itself is beautiful, but for us, the people were the true highlight. Exceptional hospitality and a level of service that we will absolutely remember. Thank you to the entire Gaia team for making our stay in Manuel Antonio so special!

Property is built so beautifully within the vegetation and trees. We received two rooms apartment (like two entire flats one on top of the other, with 2 bathrooms, which was very convenient with two teenagers) - which was very fine furnished, cosy, clean, and maintained. From our balconies we could watch the birds and so many cute Caoties. Breakfast was delicious, as well as lunch and dinner that we have decided to have in the hotel. Chef is excellent!! Very nice and welcoming staff. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Very recommended

Beautiful property, great staff, spectacular pool area with a view. If your looking a beach day, I would drive 5 minutes to playa Espillida, the private beach on the resort is small and rocky. Barely any sand.

Absolutely beautiful place! The property is even more stunning in person, surrounded by nature with such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience. We stayed in the Sultana Tent with the private pool and I highly recommend it! It was beautiful, private, spacious, and such a unique experience. Having our own pool surrounded by the jungle made it feel like our own little tropical escape. From the moment we arrived until we left, the attention to detail and service were exceptional. We felt completely taken care of. If you’re visiting Manuel Antonio and want something different from a typical hotel, this place is truly special. We would absolutely stay here again!

It is a dream. Waking up to volcano views and spending days hot springs hopping is truly magical. All of the staff go above and beyond as well.
